for me and everyone else I know who goes out and bombs on a regular basis, any kind of sociopolitical meaning or justification flies out the window when you’ve been doing it for long enough… it then enters into the stage of a compulsion, where you’re desperately doing it for your own sense of relief and satisfaction and at the cost of everyone around you.
the dialogue between most writers I know is like an episode of that A&E show about OCD -
“why can’t you just stop ? this is pointless”
“i can’t”

Wichita aims to fight graffiti with new cameras
WICHITA, Kan. - Police in Wichita hope a $28,000 investment will help them fight a $250,000 problem.
The Police Department has purchased five high-resolution, motion-activated surveillance cameras that will be placed in areas where graffiti, vandalism and illegal dumping are a problem. The department says the solar-powered cameras can withstand gunshots and read license plates 250 feet away in total darkness. KWCH-TV reports the department plans to place the cameras in plain sight, hoping they’ll serve as a deterrent to would-be vandals, graffiti artists and other nuisances.
looks like it’ll be balaclavas in the summertime.
